Yes. There’s no fixed enrolment date. You can join at any time and prepare for the next available sittings.
Access to your online course materials covers the first two consecutive sittings of the SQE1 assessment, or the first four consecutive sittings of the SQE2 assessment (depending on your course), which will be administered by the assessment provider, from the date of your registration to the course, or until the date on which you have passed the SQE1/SQE2 assessment, whichever happens first.
You can opt into an extended pre-prep period. If you wish to begin your SQE1 preparation ahead of time (which is highly recommended), you have the option to purchase your course in the same calendar month as, or the calendar month immediately preceding, a scheduled SQE1 assessment (for example, on or after 1 December or 1 June). By doing so, you will be granted an optional pre-prep period.
During this period, you will have limited access to SQE Learning until the conclusion of the nearest SQE1 assessment following the purchase of your course, but your course will cover three consecutive sittings rather than two sittings (or earlier if you have passed SQE1). To exercise the pre-prep period option, you must notify us by email within seven days of purchasing the course.
The SRA allows up to three attempts at each SQE assessment within a rolling six-year period.
No. You don’t need to book your SQE assessment with Kaplan before joining our course. However, you’ll need to pass SQE1 before registering with Kaplan for SQE2, unless you’re exempt from SQE1.
We do not offer our SQE1 mock tests or SQE2 mock exams as standalone products.
They are included as part of our full preparation packages, together with the accompanying study tools designed to support your preparation for the exam.

No. QLTS is known for realistic SQE mock tests, but the courses are not built around mocks alone. Our courses include a structured preparation pathway with tutor-guided study planning, digestible summary notes, practice questions, videos, podcasts, flashcards, AI tools and performance feedback.
The mock tests are an important part of the course, but they sit within a wider system designed to help candidates learn, consolidate, practise and improve before exam day.
Every package (excluding the SQE2 Basic Course) includes an initial tutor consultation to create your personalised study plan. SQE1 Premium also includes 2 hours of one-to-one tutor support. SQE2 Advantage and Premium include mock practice stations with personal tutor feedback (2 and 6, respectively).

SQE1 Basic candidates can upgrade at any time to add access to the SQE Video Library or 20 additional mock tests. Each upgrade costs £390.
SQE2 Basic candidates can upgrade at any stage to unlock access to an additional 180 self-assessment mock exams for £390.
SQE1 Advantage candidates cannot upgrade to the SQE1 Premium Course after signing up. SQE2 Advantage candidates can purchase additional mock stations with tutor feedback for £150 each.
