QLTS School offers three course packages for the SQE1 exam:
SQE1 Basic – you will have access to the textbooks, revision materials, multiple choice questions and 10 mock tests for the Functioning Legal Knowledge Assessments (five on each of the FLK1 & FLK2).
Recommended for: (i) candidates with lower work commitments, need minimal materials to prepare and are therefore able to spend most of their days preparing for the exam; (ii) UK law graduates who are well-familiar with the subject areas assessed in SQE1.
SQE1 Advantage – this package includes everything in the Basic Course plus access to the full suite of the 30 mock tests for the FLK assessments (15 on each of the FLK1 & FLK2), which give you the chance to gradually build up your knowledge, skills, speed and confidence at answering questions. You will also have access to the SQE Video Library, which can shorten your preparation time considerably. While the videos are not intended to fully cover each and every aspect of the SQE Specification as comprehensively detailed as in the textbooks, they are an ideal complement to the textbooks, providing you with another means of absorbing information and developing a sound knowledge of the subjects tested in SQE1.
Recommended for: (i) candidates who work full-time and have limited time in which to prepare (ii) paralegals (iii) chartered legal executives (iv) apprentices (v) foreign qualified lawyers in a common law jurisdiction.
SQE1 Premium – this package includes all the features on the Advantage Course plus tutor assistance. You will be asked to complete a questionnaire, following which one of our tutors will conduct an over the phone, Skype or GoToMeeting consultation with you and prepare a customised study plan that will suit your needs and personal circumstances. Our tutor will also answer any question you may have during your preparation about the materials through the 2-hour tutor support service.
Recommend for: (i) candidates who either work full-time, part-time or currently unemployed, who wish to have dedicated and personalised support throughout their studies (ii) UK non-law graduates without (or with limited) legal experience (iii) foreign qualified lawyers in a civil law jurisdiction (iv) non-UK law graduates.
